Mr. Maldonado’s inspiration comes from expressionism, color, form, figure, relationships, and environment. Constantly exploring culture, architecture, audited history, nature, and dialogue Erick continues to embody his relationship with himself through the medium of painting and collage. Heavily considering multiple mediums, the work continues to evolve as Erick abstractly approaches his own essence in the contemporary fine art world.
